Every Thing's a Mess and I'm Tired

Well, I couldn’t sleep last night. Nothing helped. Not my books. Not my own soft breath. Not laying there in the dark.

So, I did the next best thing.

I stood up, wrapped the dark around me like a bathrobe, like the words of an old friend, and came into the living room where I live-mixed this mix-tape for you.

Don’t just have a good Monday. Have a great Monday on my behalf.

*HEY! I’D LIKE TO HEAR YOUR THOUGHTS: Now, I’m wondering when you think would be a good time for everyone, more or less, to do a big live broadcast once a week. We can also live chat on Grooveshark as I play a one hour set. Does that sound interesting to you at all?

What’s the point of a live broadcast on Grooveshark?

As I mentioned,l we can ALL HANG OUT TOGETHER AND CHAT on Grooveshark at the same time as I play music. That’s pretty cool, I think.

Also, I don’t get to post one-tenth of the amazing stuff I listen to/find/love, and this is a way for us to enjoy music socially.

Finally, Grooveshark is free.

Grooveshark does have regular flash advertisements, which is how it pays the bills/makes money.

Thoughts? Feelings? Intuitions? Twitches? Ideas? Utter nonsense? Share it in the comments!

THE BLUEBIRD BLVD. GROOVESHARK PAGE

I love Grooveshark. It’s a great company, with a similar ethos as WordPress, I think.

I started using Grooveshark to listen to music just after Bluebird Blvd. went live for the first time in November 2011.

You’ll see if you go to my Grooveshark page just how much I use this service for pleasure and for work. Feel free to poke around, listen to the back catalog I’ve put together, and generally relax.

*Hey! If you were here earlier, I had posted a link to the live broadcast on this post, but as I’m not live broadcasting at the moment, the link is useless. Instead, enjoy this embedded mix tape I made you from the live broadcast at 6:30 this morning.
